A free, open source menu bar app for macOS that mounts NTFS disks with write access. Plug in a Windows disk and it mounts by itself, ready to read and write, with a card per disk showing free space, live speed and a fill-up estimate.

Install in one line

Paste one command in Terminal and it installs everything (FUSE-T, the app and ntfs-3g), checks every download and asks for your password once. No Homebrew, no compiling, no kernel extension and no restart. The only manual step is giving macOS Full Disk Access, and a Welcome window guides you through it.

Read before you use it

It was developed and tested on a single Mac (Apple Silicon, macOS 27). The app is not signed by Apple. Writing to NTFS can corrupt a disk if something goes wrong: back up first and use it at your own risk. FUSE-T, the layer installed by default, is free for non-commercial use only (there is a macFUSE mode for business use). MIT license. Not affiliated with Tuxera, ntfs-3g, FUSE-T, macFUSE or Apple.
